Art inspired from the heart.
Rose Tylinski (she/ella), Founder of Painted by Rose, is a Peruana Americana whose passion lies in bridging the worlds of art and holistic wellness. Her first love of the arts began when she strolled LODA Art Walk for the first time as a National Arts Honors Society high school participant in 2011, where the vibrant city of Mobile brought together all the creatives and their families for a night of art. She continued to study studio drawing at the University of South Alabama. She picked up painting in Houston, Texas from local and international mentors from Mexico, Cuba, Nigeria, India, and beyond to develop her own style. To this day, she travels between Houston and Mobile as a living and working artist.
Her skills expand into arts management, leading her to obtain an M.A. in Arts Leadership and certificate in Arts and Health at the University of Houston. She has worked with many organizations, such as Houston Arts Alliance, Center for Performing Arts Medicine, and FotoFest, to raise awareness of noble causes. In 2023, the City of Houston awarded her with a Certificate of Appreciation from Michael Kubosh for all her service to the arts and community.
With over 15 years of arts experience, Rose believes that we can inspire the world to be a better place with empowerment, education, growth, and laid-back vibes.
As a dynamic portrait artist based in Houston, Painted by Rose has evolved as a celebration of women and legendary storytellers, conveying themes of wisdom, love, resilience, and the innermost essence and narratives they embody. This collection resonates with the spirit of knowledge, affection, and fortitude.
Intended only for mature audiences, Body Art is a cultural performance art where the body serves as the canvas. Models take control of the perception of their body as they wear the colors of their spirit. Body art happens to be the most interesting form, in my opinion, because of its versatility.
